Statistics
The ATA collects and circulates quarterly figures on trade sales by value, allowing trends to be identified.

The Association maintains a password-protected comprehensive list of ATA members and registered brand names.
Trade Mark Registration
The Angling Trades Association offers a comprehensive service to enable members to register new trademarks. Members using this service will save a minimum of 50 per cent on patent agent costs.
Promotion of Angling
The ATA has a long and successful record of promoting angling to newcomers.
Amongst its many initiatives are National Fishing Week, the Professional Anglers Association, the Take A Friend Fishing campaign and many more.
Streamline Merchant Services
Streamline (part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group) is the leading provider of merchant accounts in Europe. It handles around half of all card transactions, so you know you can be confident of a first class, reliable service. Excellent rates have been negotiated with the Association and are now available for members.
Free Access to Participate in and recieve Results of ATA Industry Surveys
Free Press Cuttings
Association members can take advantage of the free, daily selection of cuttings on countryside matters, including angling.
ANC Express / Fed Ex
The Association has negotiated very competitive rates on delivery of documents and parcels through to pallets with the national carrier, ANC Express.
Key Alliance
Key Alliance is a major purchasing consortium. They are able to offer Federation and it's Associations' members the opportunity to benefit from reduced costs in a wide selection of products & services. Average savings are currently standing at over 33 per cent.
Fact Sheets
Federation members have free access to fact sheets covering a range of business matters from employment law to the Working Time Directive. These are available either in printer format or can be downloaded from the website, and they are updated on a regular basis to reflect best working practices.
Free Business Support Helpline
Members can obtain free advice from qualified professionals on tax, VAT, PAYE, payroll, employment & personnel, health & safety and legal & commercial issues.
Access to lobby European Parliament
Through the ATA’s membership of the Federation of The European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI), it has access to lobby European Parliament.
