The innovative academies launched by Hardy & Greys have made key appointments to develop more products.

Dave Coster has been given the task of managing the coarse academies while Neil Mackellow joins as sea fishing consultant.

Dave will use his combination of retail and journalist knowledge and expertise to co-ordinate and organise events and develop new coarse products.

Dave has 25 years’ experience of running his own fishing tackle shop and has been a coarse fishing consultant at Wickford Angling Centre.

Meanwhile Neil, who has worked for tackle firms including Penn and Zziplex, as well as being rod tester and writer for various sea fishing magazines.

Neil said: “When I had completed my tour of the impressive Hardy & Greys headquarters at Alnwick I just knew I had come to the right place. My passion for developing fishing rods and reels will be put to good use here. The possibilities are endless!”
